In the Lok Sabha elections of 2024, the TDP-JSP alliance has unveiled its initial list of 118 candidates. While the TDP has announced all 94 of its candidates, the JSP has only revealed five out of its 24 candidates so far.
Notable candidates from the TDP include N. Chandrababu Naidu, who will contest in Kuppam, and his son Nara Lokesh from Mangalagiri. JSP's political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar will run in Tenali, and former minister Konathala Ramakrishna will contest in Anakapalli. According to Mr. Naidu, the alliance between TDP and JSP is crucial to counter the YSRCP's authoritarian rule. He mentioned that extensive efforts were made to select candidates, considering the opinions of 1.33 crore people.
Mr. Kalyan clarified that he didn't push for more seats to potentially accommodate the BJP if they decided to join the alliance.
