UP Police Exam Cancelled: up police constable exam 2024 cancelled 

After demonstrations by candidates, the Yogi government has given relief to lakhs of candidates by canceling the UP Police Constable recruitment exam. After claims of paper leaks, lakhs of candidates were demanding the cancellation of the exam and a retest. In many districts including Lucknow and Jhansi, thousands of candidates were protesting. UP Police Constable Exam: The state government, along with canceling the exam, has ordered for a retest to be conducted within six months. CM Yogi stated that strict action will be taken against those who tamper with the hard work of the youth and the integrity of the exam. 

CM Yogi Adityanath announced the cancellation of the UP Police Constable recruitment exam through his social media account 'X' (formerly Twitter). He stated that there can be no compromise on the integrity of the exams. According to a notice issued by the state government, "Based on the examination of evidence and information received regarding the police recruitment exam held on 17th and 18th February 2024, the government has decided to cancel this exam in view of ensuring integrity and transparency at the highest standards. The government has instructed the recruitment board to ensure that any negligence is dealt with by filing an FIR and ensuring advance legal action."
